. This is normal. Each day gets better. I was a huge water drinker before the surgery and after it took about 6 weeks to drink normal. The water is very important so sip sip and sip. Sugar free Popsi

hI-I had surgery yesterday. Sleeve and a small hiatal hernia. I noticed today that when I sip water, it feels like it's just sitting at the bottom of my esophagus. I feel like this should resolve when the swelling comes Dow, but sure would appreciate hearing from those who had this issue and how long it took to go away. Other than that I have no nausea and pain in incisions is minimal (although the left side is the worst). Thanks everyone!
