We're not supposed to for at least two weeks and then it's up to you; but it causes gas.

My doctor doesn't recommend it at all, but he says at least 3 months before I try and it could hurt.

Mine gave me a water bottle with a straw straight after surgery. No issues. Center of Excellence too.

I try not to drink out of straws. But sometimes u can't resist. :). It does add bubbly to my stomach.

I tried it. It hurt so bad that I haven't tried it again.

I drink from a straw and find it great no issues and find it easier to drink than trying to sip a cup of coffee when I was in hospital they gave me a straw as soon as I came out and I'm now three week post op and I still find it easier through a straw

I am almost a month out and I find it easier for myself to drink out a straw too.
