  1. I woke up this morning and I am now fat and not obese. I have never been happier to be called a fat chick!
  2. It will be one-derful. Congrats and good luck!
  3. @@1Sleevecomingup Remember you have nothing in your system to pass. You won't have a BM for days, and me now 6 months later I only have BM every few days, my calorie intake is to low for daily. Don't worry, you are doing fine.
  4. I weigh myself every day as part of my morning routine, you know wake up, go to the bathroom, weigh myself and brush my teeth. I don't worry to much about it. I just like to knowing that I am headed in the right direction. I went out of town for a week over spring break and during the whole week I only lost 1 pound. It was because of the yogurt I was eating, but if I would have been the scale daily I would have seen that earlier. But I think it is up to every person, my doctors office says I shouldn't weigh myself daily that it will only frustrate me, but I still do it. I like to keep an eye on it.
  5. I have an evil mother-in-law of my own and I have just decided that she must speak to my husband (her son) and she isn't allowed to put her negativity on me. You just have to keep doing it for others and start only worrying about you.
  6. Good for you, I hope each day gets better!
  7. @TheCurvyJones Thanks for the idea, I love chia but I haven't been doing it since the surgery.
  8. I had my surgery on March 11, 2014 (just over 6 months ago) and I have lost nearly 100 lbs. I exercise a lot and barely eat but I don't have BMs daily. In fact it is sometimes several days. Has anybody else had this? My doctor says everybody is different and as long as I am not feeling any pain I am fine but it still seems weird.
  9. I did my surgery in March of this year and I am down about 85 pounds. I was really afraid that I would "miss out" on a lot of things but instead I have found that I can still have them. I love flan and different Desserts that aren't good for me but now, I have my husband order them and I just take one bite. I get the taste but I'm not eating the whole thing. It is working really well for me to tell my self I am a grown up and I can have whatever I want... most of the time I realize I don't really want to eat the junk I just like knowing that I am in control. Good Luck!
  10. I'm getting a weight loss tattoo
  11. I was 271 in March and this weekend I made it to ONEderland. Yay me!!!!
  12. I would think it has more to do with sucking air in, but I would love to hear if the second time goes as well.
  13. I am doing a lot of toning, the skin isn't saggy the way i have seen it on others. but i am planning a tummy tuck for a year or so later.
  14. Wow that's amazing well done you. Do you mind me asking what type of surgery you had? I've had the sleeve and am 3 months post op and only down 33 pounds. My clothes are loose and they used to be really tight but I've not dropped enough. What do you feel you've done to get such a big weight loss so quickly? I'm very interested to know how many calories you've been consuming and how much and what exercise have you been doing? Please share your success and again well done. I had the sleeve, but I am also hitting the gym really hard. Normally 5 days a weeks for at least 2 hours.
  15. My husband is also over weight. He is 6'2" and weighs about 290. Now that I am getting healthier I really want him to get healthier too. I find myself trying to push him to join me on my trips to the gym and he is fighting it. He tells me he is comfortable with his weight but I am not comfortable with his weight. It is putting a little strain on our relationship but not much.
  16. My surgery was done on March 11th, I am coming up on 3 months tomorrow and I have lost over 60 pounds. I am so thankful that I finally got this surgery done. I haven't had any real complications, a few times i have had heartburn or acid issues but that is nothing. I've gone from a size 24 to a size 14.
  17. I got a size 14 shorts that I ordered in the mail yesterday and I tried them on to see how much more until they closed and they closed. First try I got them closed without laying down. I am so happy.
  18. I was told to put a little soda in a snack size zip lock bag and put it in your pocket. Your new stomach is the size of a snack size bag and you can see what the soda does to the bag and then decided if you want to put that into your body. Plus, any soda is a lot of calories, even diet soda that says no calories is full of stuff that once it hits your body turns into calories. On average a diet soda drinker gains 10 pounds a year instead of losing weight. Water is best and if you need some flavor crystal light works.
  19. You know you are losing weight when your 12 year old son tells you to pull up your pants you are sagging to much for a mom! and You know you are losing weight when your 8 year old can get her arms around you and link her own fingers together!
  20. When I was fat I wore a 42DD. I went out this weekend to get a new bra and I bought a 38DD. When I put the new bra on it fits great around but I am pouring out of the cups. I have lost nearly 60 pounds and my boobs got bigger? Has anybody ever heard of this?
