Post Op March 2014

I just had my surgery on the 10th and I feel so full under my ribs when I drink, is this normal or gas? I hope we March peeps and other veterans can support each other. This app is a Godsend!

So something kind of amazing happened today. I asked for 4 weeks off work. My doctors office said start with 4, and we could ask for more if I needed it. MetLife is notorious for only approving 4 week

  • *A non-scale victory shout out* I was walking through my house yesterday in front of my family, with my hands full and my pants fell to my ankles!!!!!! I was so happy/excited I couldn't be embarrassed

Hello fellow Marchies! Hope everyone is doing well and the pounds and inches are melting off.

Surgery was March 24th. 39 lbs gone... I promised myself the first 40 lbs I lost I was going to do something for me on my bucket list. Excited to say I booked my trip to Central America(Belize) for a week in June. Very excited!!! I wish everyone's surgery could be as smooth as mine has been. Feeling Blessed!!!

It seems so strange to want things I never really liked before my surgery. I find myself wanting coffee and salty things. Before I might have drank coffee maybe one cup every 3-4 months and never liked salty things.

Post op weight loss 65lbs surgery was 3-7 :)

I'm doing well. Down 58lbs from my preop diet. I've been hitting the gym hard the past two weeks and I'm building up a lot of strength and stamina.

great job! Indeed it is strange how the taste buds change, I hated green beans now, I eat them a few times a week.

Before and 2 months after :)

You look great!

Just wondering what vitamins you guys are taking. My doc. Has me on prenate elite and ferocon. I alternate days taking them, so far all blood work is good. Oh, I'm down 50lb surgery date 3-17, inches coming of nicely and building muscle mass so I'm pleased. Keep up the good work all.

I take the gummy one a day for women. And I take adora calcium. Grats on the fabulous loss!!!

thx Kristina! Hope all is well with you :)

Oh I also do the b12 shot once a month! All is well, I'm down 40 from surgery and I believe a total of 94lbs. My quality of life has already improved so much. Another 100 to go but hey I'm halfway there!
