  1. I'm just 4 days post op and it's so hard watching my husband and kids eat like "normal". I cannot wait to get to chew. When can we have salad?
  2. Yeah, I have the same problem with water. All I wanna do I gulp... Ugh!
  3. Yes, this cramping is annoying. I keep getting a sharp cramp in my left rib. I'm hoping to go back to work next week.
  4. I just had my surgery on the 10th and I feel so full under my ribs when I drink, is this normal or gas? I hope we March peeps and other veterans can support each other. This app is a Godsend!
  5. Good, I'm so glad you're well....keep me informed. I'm pretty much the same. Gotta get this dinner down. It's not hard, but these gas pains are more of a pain in the ass lol
  6. @ljgh73, I hope you are doin well. Please let us know.
  7. .........my pain is in my upper stummy, a lot of pressure, ugh!!!!!!
  8. Thanks everyone for the support and good luck and prayers for a safe surgery. I am still at the hospital since arriving yesterday. They said I could go home after I eat my 1st liquid meal.
  9. I'm in my room finally. Got here at like 6 EST. Extremely tired and my upper stomach has bad gas pains. So far my incisions feel fine. I mainly feel tired, thirsty (cotton mouth), and gassy. They say they'll send me home 2mrw. I hope everyone that had it recently is doing well.
  10. Thank you. I'm still waiting, Dr has been backed up, hopefully it will be shortly. Nerves are there, but not too bad. I'm more worried about the days ahead. I am moving soon and have to be out of our current house by April 1st. And our new house needs some improvements......sigh!
  11. Haha thank you Sarah!
  12. Thank you both. It'll probably be a couple hours yet. I really appreciate the prayers
  13. Sitting in reception about to begin the first day of the rest of my life.....wish me luck! ????

  15. Has anyone had to do the miralax with Gatorade or crystal light?
  16. I don't know if you are a religious person, but I hope you appreciate that you're in my prayers. Everything is gonna be great. And since I'm on Monday too, I'll let ya know how mine went. We got this LOL
  17. @ljgh73 wow! A video, that's putting you on the spot and I'm glad I didn't have to do that. And I'm gonna be really honest here. If they would have asked me that, I'd have said....because I just want to be skinny, then healthy LOL. I just went to my preop appt yesterday and then to the hospitals for a meeting with the anesthesiologist and since then, my worry kind of faded. I'm ready ????. Good luck to you, I wanna hear about your experience. We can be each others soundboard and support.
  18. Thank you so much! When you put it that way, it makes me feel much better. I guess at this point, the fear kicks in and thoughts go everywhere. I swear, up until last week there wasn't a negative thought in my head. And the same to you if you need someone to talk to.....thanks again!
  19. My date is March 10th and I'm going over and over in my head.....is this right for me, am I taking the easy way out, maybe I could do this on my own? Anyone else feel the same?

  21. Are you stArting the diet yet?
  22. My surgery date is Mar 10th, and I'm really struggling with the pre-op diet. And to top it all off, we unexpectantly got the opportunity to buy a house. So at the time of my surgery, will be in the middle of a move. So of course I'm feeling majorly overwhelmed (and sorry for my husband) LOL. I just hope that with the surgery (that was already scheduled before the house) and post op goes well so I can prepare the old and new house for moves. I'm definitely really excited for this new change.
