How does one take medications after surgery. I am worried about this? I have to take synthroid everyday no way around it. How do others tackle taking daily med's. I also take topomax for migraines and a few others. Please help, I am all set for March 7th.

I was worried about the same thing, but they started giving me my pills after my surgery while I was still in the hospital with no problems, so I was able to take them at home. Synthroid is pretty small. I take one capsule and 4 Synthroid-sized pills at once. You will be fine!

I tried crushing my meds the first day home, but the next day I said "the hell with this" and swallowed them whole.

I've also swallowed mine from day 2 without problems/ And I take numerous meds (a couple of horse pills) a day. Never a problem...
