Protein bars

I'm wondering if there are any healthy protien bars in the market that anyone suggest. I found some Adkins bars yesterday and thought they may work if only half was consumed but the reviews are not good.

I don't know what the nutrition facts are but I know people who eat the quest bars..

I'm not sure what you mean by healthy protein bars, but the Eat Good, Look Great bars I get at Walmart and Sam's taste good and have 20G of protein. They have 16 grams of carbs, 2 grams of sugar and only 6 grams of fat. They taste like a very filling candy bar. I've had the chocolate peanut butter, the chocolate delux, but there are lots of other flavors.

I like Premier Protein bars. I have found them at Target. They have only 180 calories, 20 grams of protein, 2 grams of sugar, and 4.5 grams of fat. The only flavor I have been able to find is chocolate deluxe. Fortunately, I really like them. I have one nearly every day for lunch. I especially like that I can get 20 grams of protein and only have to spend 180 calories.

OhYeah! good grab bars

Balance bar Gold chocolate mint cookie tastes just like eating an entire package of girl scout thin mints.

Makes me want to have a glass of milk with it :)

I LOVE Quest bars. They're very clean and they taste really good. I have one for breakfast every day.

Awesome. Thank you everyone for the ideas. I found premiere one at Walgreens. They have a chocolate peanut butter and a chocolate mint in addition to the chocolate deluxe. I will look for the others also. Thanks again. ????

I have been wondering the same thing about which protein bars to order so I decided on Quest because some of their bars have 20 grams of protein and 3 grams of carbs and I see their on sale...here is a link to help http://www.questproteinbar.com/cookies-and-cream-box-of-12.html

I get my Quest bars from GNC. With the gold card they are $24.99 a box.

My nutritionist recommends Pure Protein Bars as a good source of nutrition.

They come in a lot of flavors and are low in sugar and high in protein.

I enjoy them usually every day.

Hi, I'll ask my nut at my next appt, but how far out are you when you start to eat the protein bars?

I'm just starting soft, 4 weeks post-op.

Costco has a variety pack of premier protein bars.

I never asked my nutritionist, but I started them once I was on solid foods

The brand "Pure Protein" has the best protein to calorie ratio I've found. I've seen them at all the chain stores. All of the brands that have the most protein taste like soybeans to me, not good! Another brand that tastes the best to me, but has a worse protein to calorie ratio is the CLIF bar.
