I went in for surgery around 8:30am and went home a little after 2pm. I didn't have a hernia and my surgeon said my liver looked great (yay for not eating for 10 days!). The gas pain was really intense in my back and it took me awhile to get comfortable. The throat was also a little scratchy and dry. I have been walking around some, but mostly resting. These pain meds make me so tired. I have some pain in my stomach around my incisions. I am really hungry but I am not supposed to have anything but Clear liquids until tomorrow afternoon by the medicine cap full.

I appreciate all of the supportive comments! The only person in my life who knows about me having surgery today is my husband (and you all!).

Excellent I'm so happy for you! I'm sure the next few days will be trying just remember to stay positive and we are all here for support! Congratulations so happy for you!
