Oohhh did I forget to mention I'm only 6 days post op. I know I know too soon

lol that's funny. I craved a pickle too, just after my operation.

What I did to soothe the craving was to get the pickle jar out, stick my finger into the vinegar and lick it. Did me the world of good to taste something that was vaguely normal!

As long as you don't try to eat a pickle, you'll be fine :)

I'm so bad! I started smoking again! Iv smoked about 3 years total off and in since my husbands last Iraq tour in 2007, never more then 4 a day, 2 weeks ago a guy left a pack in his truck and I thought ah what the hell ill have one! 7 months with out and now I'm on my 2 Nd pack in 2 weeks! Don't give in! I'm still running everyday out with in 2 weeks and almost 2 packs latter my miles went up 3 min in time! I just like to go outside and be alone for a few min a few times a day! I am such a loser!

I too have turned to smoking again. Only 4 or so a day. Boredom and can't turn to food- hope to quit again once I return to work. I know it does not help healing- I'm 13 days out. I was returning to work the 17th, next Monday- but think I should go back half days starting Wednesday. I would have returned, but have little energy to sustain a whole day at work.

I am 6 days out too. Craving green olives.

I have cravings too. Iust ate/sucked on a rolo. I am only7 dys post op. It was so good but its hurts so bad. I wont do that again. i have been thinking about it since day 4 post op.

Good luck with the cravngs.

I quit for the surgery and 6 weeks late started up again. :( I know its hard but when you lose smoking and food for stress relief/comfort it was too much for me. I hope I mean I WILL quit again soon!!!

I know for me during the summer I never smoke, I'm to busy outside planting , I can't wait for summer!

Uggh yes! That's just it! Taking 2 things away that I'm addicted to at ONCE! (food and cigarettes) is no good!
