  1. We are all different. I also had my sleeve on2/3/14. I have pain (onl hen getting up from a sitting position) but do not need to rest any more than I normally did. Maybe I was alway tired. So I really dont feel differnet. I ued to nap every sat and sunday. I couls shop all day and feel great but I would need a nap as soo as I got home. I am hoping that teed for a nap will decrease with some weight loss. Keep doing what you are doing and things will fall into place.
  2. Awesome! Congrats! I can not wait to be able to shop some where other than the tent section at dicks. LOL. Way 2 go! Keep it up.

  6. Thanks everyone. I am sure it will get better soon. I have stopped taking my antacids for now. It was suggested because I have had such nausea. Maybe I will start up again tonight. I have been sleeping in my recliner. That seemed to help keep the talking tummy some what quite.
  7. I am 5 days post op and I can not sleep thru the night. I wake up every couple of hours with a talking tummy.I dont really feel hungery or anythng. I am no longer having nasuea and dry heaving. Just a talking tummy. Is this normal? did anyone else have trouble sleeping thru the night? My RN at the doctors office said this was normal. It just seems so weird to me. Thanks, B~
  8. I bought Gerber brand. It tastes ok. Baby food is a personal choice. Buy some and try it. i find it helpful when I dont have time to prepare my own. its also good to keep on had at work or in the car. Everyone is different and don't let anyone else make the choice for you.

  19. I understand. I am doing a 14 day pre-op liquid diet. I wanted to kill everyone the first 2 days. I had a headache from hell. Trust me it gets better. I am now 3 days away. My energy came back around day 5. I wanted to go to bed at 5 pm everyday. just keep it up. You will start to feel better soon. Good Luck:) B~

  21. I am so sorry you haven't been able to ride. I started again last year after a 15 year absence. My riding buddy is fearful that I will not be able t ride for 6 months. I hope that I can start riding again in 3 to 4 months. But you will get back in the saddle again.
  22. thank you for all the support
  23. This is great info for all of us. I went out and bought an eye mask but not ear plugs. I think I will have to get them. I aslo bought lots of sugar free Jello and pudding, sugar free drinks, and stage one baby food. I didn't buy a ton but just enough to get me thru a week. I think we will all be just fine. I was also told to bring a comfy pair of PJ's, slippers and a robe. No one wants to see this in a hospital gown I also plan on bring a good book, a laptop, and my cell phone. I hope I dont need it but just in case. We have a 3 day stay. Doc's orders. No one goes home early. But I could use the rest from the family
