I've battled and beat cancer 4x--lost my hair twice from treatment and I have scars already from previous surgeries. I'd rather lose my hair to process of losing weight instead of chemo treatments.

There's a good chance it's just me, but I imagine others have felt the same way.
I'm worried a out scarring.
I'm worried about loose skin.
I'm worried about hair loss.
Do you think that we, as obese/ former obese people are more vain than others? Do you think that our perceived failures pushed us further into obesity? Have our personal desires, realistic or not, led us down a path?
Feeling philosophical.
