Shake--eating or drinking?

Can't find this in my post op binder anywhere! I have been considering my shakes "eating" for the sake of the no drinking before/during/after eating. Would make getting my Water in sooooo much easier if it was considered drinking though bc the shakes often take me 1-1.5 hours to finish.

What do you guys consider shakes? Drinking or eating?

DH is ever so helpful, he says both! Um..... Well then I guess I can't have them!

My NUT said I could count it towards my liquids!

I agree, they are a liquid. And they count towards your water intake.
