  • Popular Post

Well I finally have a surgery date set to Jan 8th. I am so excited that it's finally approaching. I have been on this journey since August! I can not explain how thrilled and excited I am. I have so many thoughts that goes through my mind like what should I pack? Etc. Anyone else have a date for January?

  • I am having my surgery on Jan 7!! I'm really excited but also very nervous... I'm 23 years old. I don't know many people as young as me that's gotten it done.

I have three week pre-op liquid diet. Four protein shakes plus six cups of calorie free liquids. Can also have up to two cups of celery, cucumber or spinach if I feel the need to chew something. Nothing else. I'm kind if nervous about it but I'm sure I will do okay.

Wow three weeks? Idk if I could do that one. Lol I guess if I had to I would. Good luck! It's all worth it in the end. That's my little pep talk I am going to be telling myself during my two weeks :) I can't wait to be on the losers bench!

Yeah and I start it on New Year's Eve day. Yikes. No party for me.

Surgery date for me is January 16th, I start my pre-op full liquid diet on January 2nd. I don't think it'll be that bad...I can have cream based soups, protein shakes and puddings.

At least we get to experience a little bit of Christmas supper! That's a positive!!

My pre op diet doesn't start until the day before surgery. A light breakfast, clear liquids for lunch and dinner!

Erin.Nicole....you are sooooo lucky.
