Water intake?

Just had my operation on Monday. Is it normal to be able to drink more water than other liquids? I was drinking a glass of water and just realized I drank nearly 12 oz over a 30 min period without any discomfort. Is that normal?

    I had my sleeve Monday also and I can drink a whole 16oz water bottle in 10 minutes. I have no issues with drinking.

    I was also sleeved on Monday. As long as I remember to take small sips I can drink as much as I want. I think the water just goes right through lol
