Nervous about the surgery but i have a great support team at home with a big sister already having the surgery on October 14th

I'm also being sleeved on Monday. I'm ready.

My surgery was Oct 7th...I'm almost 3 weeks out and it's going great!

The most comforting thing on the morning of my surgery was when my OR nurse came in to introduce herself, she let me know that she had the same surgery 5 years ago and that it was the best thing she had done to improve her life.

Well...I paid my deductable Thursday...had my last big boy meal just now. No turning back now! We gotta keep in touch...follow each others progress!

I am having my surgery on Monday. Getting nervous a little. My biggest fear is that I will fail. I have a big support group of family and friends and I don't want to disappoint them and myself. Good luck!!!!

I just confirmed my surgery yesterday it's going to be on Friday 11/15/13. Staring my diet 11/1. I'm on emotional roller-coaster today. Happy butterflies to tears! Idk why I even feel scared, I've done my research. Reading all your post definitely helps calm nerves down. Thank you!!

Thanks. Good luck. I didn't do so good with liquid diet. I just tried to keep my calorie under 1000.

Me too - feel bad I was sooo hungry on this liquid diet that I ate a string cheese - no more falling off the wagon - I have to be strong!! Good luck to all - congrats to those that have been sleeved - so refreshing knowing I can come here for peace of mind!
