I am 6 days post op. I've only lost 12 #'s. I am sore so I limit my walks to 10 mins 3 times a day. Also I noticed a weird feeling in my gut after I eat and especially after I drink. It is like a gurgling/ squeezing feeling and I can hear it also. Has anyone else felt this?

Second- my stomach gurgles a lot too, mostly while and after eating. Sometimes with drinking too. I think it's pretty normal.

Hmmm, I average 1 to 3 pounds a week BUT for the first two weeks I gained.

Remember all the IV fluids? They packed Water in you.

And I am down overall 100 pounds. Slow and steady wins the race. I spend my time learning about food and me.

Obviously my comedic timing sucks when it comes to the written word.... It was a joke.

I assumed you were joking. Just wanted to make sure the OP really didn't mean "only 12lbs." Cuz that's is a lot in 6 days even with surgery.

Thanks everyone for your replys to my question. I guess I was just being a little paranoid thinking the the weird noise is a leak. I go to my first follow up on Friday and will ask the Dr about it.

Weird noises? Well I'm several months out and my sleeve still makes weird noises!

It was so loud last night the dog got freaked out!

I asked my dr about the gurgles/noises and he kinda giggled and said yup that takes some getting used to but its.completely normal.

I am over a year out and have woke up at night and think I hear people talking and then I figure out it is my stomach.

Good grief!!! Mine gurgles but not like that! It usually only does it if I eat too fast, or if it's a really acidic food.
