If you struggle with heartburn, when did it start ?

Just wondering if I haven't had issues yet, am I in the clear ?

    I had my surgery July 15th and had heartburn from the first day and everyday since. I take Omeprazole to control it so it doesnt bother me but if i miss a dose....oh boy!

    I've always had pretty bad heartburn. After the sleeve, it got worse.

    I only had heartburn once pre-surgery and it started immediately for me after surgery. I have to take a PPI every day otherwise its unbearable. Ive been taking a PPI every day for the past 9 months. I hope it gets better one day.

    I had heartburn pretty much since day one. I am on prescription meds for it now and they work pretty well, but I still have to carry Tums in my purse!
