I can't get past page 17 on November Surgeries thread! I need to talk to everyone and read your stories, concerns, advice and most of all your kind support. My surgery is Monday ❤11-11-13❤

Finally can get to the end of pages!! Woohoo! If I can be of any help feel free to message me. I remember being so close to surg and how nerve wrecking it can be!

Thank you Ajustice for your kind words. I sent you a message. Btw woohoo is right getting to move past the original page..I missed everyone!

Sent u one back! Anytime I'm here!

Been having trouble posting since surgery on 6th... Here goes another try...

Just testing to see if i can send post... Have been having trouble...

Gah!!!! I'm finally back on. I was going crazy not being able to talk to all my November peeps for a few days! Miss you guys. What's new? How have people done with surgery who have had it? And, people that are coming up - how have you guys been doing on your pre-op diets and losing weight?! I've got surgery the 22nd. I'll be starting day 4 of my 14 day pre-op diet tomorrow. The first couple days were REALLY hard. They have been getting easier...I'm still allowed to eat, I'm just on something called a "ketotic diet" which is basically like Atkins - high protein, low fat - the only difference being I'm only allowed 4oz protein at breakfast, 5 at lunch and dinner. Anyone else have something similar to this??

RMSD - I am from CT, just south of Hartford.

Still don't think this thread is working for me...

On the iPad app, try clicking on the second to last page, then the last page. It's the way I've been able to see the most current posts in older, long threads.

Phew! Finally found November!!! Hope everyone is doing well that had surgery during the shut down of rny talk. I had my surgery 11/6. Feeling pretty good actually. Having a hard time getting meds down and getting enough protein/fluids in but it seems like everyone has that problem right after. Any ideas to spice up my full liquid diet??? I happy I still love tomatoe soup!

I'm new to this thread, I had the gastric sleeve on Nov. 7th. It has been pretty hard to take liquids, but I highly recommend that everyone try as hard as you can to take the liquids b/c the dehydration headache is not worth it! It gets easier everyday. The hiccups and burbs are the most painful part for me...

I'm so excited to keep going, b/c I have already lost 11 pounds!

How's everyone else doing??

Good luck to all these people today!! Prayers for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery!! New names added!

Hi, Kristie, can you please put me down for the 19th too? Thank you :)

Good luck to everyone having surgery tomorrow.

I was suppose to have mine tomorrow but it has been postponed again. I knew I would get sick after my 22 month old grandson puked on me 6 times Tuesday night lol. Dr office said I would be ok as long as I wasn't coughing up anything. Well that started last night. : (.

I called the Dr on call and he said if I was his patient he would cancel surgery. Due to my crazy work schedule due to the holidays, I may try for Dec 6 or Jan 13th.

But on the bright side..... I get to go Black Friday shopping!! Hubby is excited about that lol.
