I can't wait! I got my band in 08 and I've wanted it out since 2011, but took me a while to work up the courage. I guess I'll try premier shake too. You're only 2 days away!! God bless you on your surgery. Keep us updated

I'll be having a revision from band to RNY on 11/19. Super excited/scared/happy/nervous... all at the Samar time lol! I'll do a 10 day pre op liquid diet and have bought unjury, which is delicious. Anyone else has a favorite protein drink they want to share? God bless all of us November RNYers

So I called the insurance company yesterday and they said my case is under physician review. I forgot to ask if that's protocol or not. Does anyone here know? I know they put my date down as the 30th but I'm freaking out because they've submitted my paperwork on the 9th and I still haven't gotten an answer. I can't even get myself to diet, I'm so anxious!

Hello, everyone, did any of you have BCBS of Ma? The paperwork was submitted to them last Friday and I was just wondering how long they might take. Doctors office said they can take up to 3 weeks. I hope it's a lot sooner

I went to a seminar, then 2 visits with nutritionist, 2 visits with the psychologist, 3 2hr workshops, pulmonologist clearance, blood work (12 tubes), chest X-ray, abdominal ultrasound, 3 visits with surgeon, a 2hr educational visit with nurse. Now just waiting for insurance approval and book surgery My unsurance company didn't require a 6 month supervised diet, thank God. I started the whole process in June. Hopefully will have surgery later this month

My nut recommended Bariatric Fusion for all my vit and mineral needs. They haven't been around long but my doctor is a fan because there's a much higher compliance with these than when having 3 or 4 different types of pill to take. Plus, all his patients who are on it have perfect blood work even in the long run
