Hope yo fell better! Call your surgeon if you have any doubts! I am 3 1/2. weeks out and it got a lot better for me! The pain meds didn't agree with my stomach either. I used zofran for nausea. It helped a lot.

Has anyone thought to take half a dose then a couple of hours later take the other half. My daughter is on a lot of pain meds and that is what she has to do occasionally in order not to vomit them back up.

If you just had your surgery on Monday then you could still be swollen and that could be causing you to get stuck with your pills, I know I had to either crush or have liquid for my meds for first days after surgery if it continues def call your dr!!!

I think that maybe the way I tell I'm full. Felt better this morning, had some protein and water and this afternoon did not take any pills. Had some protein chicken soup and there is that feeling again. Will try to keep track of this. Might be a good thing. Don't know yet. And I am not even taking half of a half of pain meds.

I had trouble taking pills at first. Now at six weeks it is better as long as I go slow and space it out. I was told that if your medication is time released you shouldn't crush it. It will get better I'm sure:)
