June surgeries!

Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

Not sure if my scale is working properly but it says that I've lost another 9lbs since yesterday morning. Is that even possible?!?!?

holy smokes! that is amazing! ive only lost 9lbs in the 29 days of 800 calorie optifast. Great job!

Had surgery on the 6th and Im completely kicking ass. Doing really well. I havent even taken any pain medication today. I am having some trouble getting all my water and protein in though. Im still pretty tired and cant sleep well because of the drain tube but Im doing really good. Im honestly quite shocked. I really thought that I was going to be laid up for weeks. Hope everyone else out there is doing well!!

Awesome!!

Good luck everybody going in today!! Praying for you.

Thanks!!!

Seems that a heating pad in the middle of my chest is helping the spasms and burping some. I also may be taking 4-6 long hot showers a day. One of the few things making me relax and feel better. I don't think I will make it back to work Thursday like I planned.

Feeling really light headed today. Probably lack of calories.

It could be dehydration. Are you getting enough water?

I'm up to around 40-45 a day and I just had my surgery last Wednesday. I just took my Prilosec so I have to wait a half hour before I have anything. I think I'm going to try some yogurt.

I'm getting the gas trapped in my chest too. A heating pad right between the girls has been a lifesaver for me today. I'm finally keeping liquids down. I'm 5 days post op. My NUT said take tiny tiny sips like you're sipping hot soup every ten seconds all day. I feel like its a full time job.
