  1. I just had my 3 month follow up visit and I'm feeling and looking great. I'm down 55 pounds.
  2. No I did not go thru Chesapeake regional. My doctor was based in Chesapeake but my surgery was in Portsmouth hospital. So far I'm doing wonderful. I'm feeling good and looking great!
  3. Well I went back to work today. My surgery was June 13th. Everything was going great until I went to lunch. After my second bite of food it got stuck and those 20 minutes where the worst until I was able to throw it back up. Needless to say it took all of my energy and I went home early. It was my fault I totally did not chew my food slowly. Tomorrow will be a better day!

  9. Getting ready to go to the hospital. I'm not really sure how I feel at this exact moment. I guess I would say I'm feeling a little anxiety but at the same time excited to get to this point in the process and get on the losers bench!
  10. I need to pack for Thursday to and your right it is getting real. LoL
  11. Hang in there! ????
  12. I started this journey in February deciding that I will have this surgery. I went to 3 months of nutrition classes, I saw a psych,I had lab work done and then went to a pre op class. I was giving a date of June 13th but realize my insurance had not received any paperwork. I remember reading all these posts that you have to be aggressive. When I called my insurance yesterday they told me it takes 15 days for an approval and it would be no way I would be having my surgery next week during the conversation she later them said she will look over it and call me the next day to let me know if I was approved since I kept calling. Lol. I say all this to simply say thank you to all who said you need to stay on top of your own paperwork. I would have ever known that it took so much to have this surgery. But next week here I come!!!!!
  13. June 13th is my tentative surgery date. ????
