April Dates

Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

I've been cleaning the house today getting ready for surgery tomorrow. I really just feel like crawling under the covers and sleeping the day away. My mother will be taking my chihuahua to her house tomorrow' date=' the cat will be fine on her own for a few days and I've got to pick up an auto feeder for the fish. been drinking blue raspberry Isopure, which has an awful aftertaste, but I'm managing. Also deinking chicken broth and Mio "Sweet tea". Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Reading a book called "The Success Habits of Weight Loss Surgery Patients" to get my mind in the game.[/quote']

Good for you! I don't have a pre op diet, but being that I am two weeks out, I am going to do one myself. I am doing two shakes a day, with a healthy meal for one. I had my last "last supper" yesterday; pizza. Now it is down to business for me. Hurry up two weeks!

In 2 weeks im down 7 more next 2 days massive spring cleanijg before hand

63 1/2 hours til surgery getting nervous cleaning and recleaning got my clear liquids and soft foods just have to figure out a vitakin that ill like in 2 weeks. got sugar free mints since i cant chew gum my muscle relaxers give wicked bad dry mouth and have chewed gum all day to help it when nothing else would. Now i have to switch.

Home from the hospital! I feel so much better just being here in a comfy chair! Still super sore and swollen but that is to be expected. Feeling a lot better with the walking!! Especially when the took out the drain tube... That made me feel like a brand new person once gone. Ended up with 145 laps around my bariatric center floor' date=' which come to fine out was 5.36 miles!!! I couldn't believe it. I was just doing it cause it was more comfortable for me. And I couldn't sit in the room anymore!

Is it in a circle? Ours is. I think 16 laps is a mile. I'm hoping I can fill the board up! Great job on your mileage!

It's rectangle. 27 laps around ours is equal to 1 mile! Walking really did help! It was hard the first day second day got better and by the third it was nothing. Just do a few laps at a time take a rest and they will add up before you know it.
