Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

April 4 I'm soooooo scared ... I have been so mean to my family that is so supportive of me ... I feel bad ... But I just can't help it .... The nerves have taken over ugh

It's never too late to say I'm sorry -- I'm sure they would understand if you explained it to them. Hang in there and you will get through this!

I guess the last couple weeks with this band its making sure i HATE this band! Had my preop egd last thursday and have had a horrific cough and havent been able to sleep went to the ER yesterday and they said i have GERD gave me pepcid and told me to sleep elevated and take malox ...well it helped a little but still wake up every 2 hrs coughing so bad im gagging so i went to my lapband dr this am and they took out some fluid and sent me for a CT scan so now im sitting at the hospital waiting ....and still coughing and gagging WTF is wrong with me UGGGHHHHHH so frustrated!

I agree you guys here are like family I get more support here then I do with my real family

It's cause we're all going through the same thing and understand your family there for you but they can't complety understand what your going through they try but it's hard cause if your not physically going thought its hard cause there's so may emotions and felling you go through not beside everything you have to remember to do and watch so careful what you eat and try to get all your protein in and were all going through this so we understand

I agree as well. Spouses dont know what u go through like the ones who are going through it. I am gettinf so nervous i keep going over my list of things for after amd for the hospital. My head keeps spinning
