Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

Well guys I ran into a snag , this was my Day 4 and by far the worst, had to go back to ER for 5 hrs, with dangerously high BP and pulse , extreme chills and legs and feet swelled super tight ,and a miserable headache!! They finally agreed to give me some BP back and that's helped alot, but still have bad pulse and headache !! My potassium was low also , but I was told to never take these meds that I have taken for over 7 yrs, I never understood how I could just stop my BP meds , but hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here in out !! Please keep me in your prayers ! Did anyone else have any similar issues ??

The hospital list dr also told me to stop all my blood pressure meds. I did. Big mistake. It went sky high, feet swelled back up again, so I'm back on them. Boy was my surgeon and primary mad!

Wow Sorry, my Surgeon took me off many of my meds at the Hospital, like my Diabetes Meds, IBS Meds ect. but not my Blood Pressure Meds.

Feel better soon, today I am 6 days out and each day gets better. Hang in there.

Liquids today, drank my cocktail at 10 this morning. Felt a little funny since 11:30. I guess that is normal?? Blood sugar is down to 92 & blood pressure is 114/68. These numbers haven't been that low in years!! Hospital called, surgery is tomorrow at 11.
