Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

I have not eaten this many popsicles since i was in high school.

OMG when I was on clears I ate about a box a day. They kept me from losing my mind.

Lol I know right. At the hospital they had the most delicious Popsicles. There were white ones that tasted like piña coladas and blue ones that tasted like some other tropical drink. I asked them where they were from and they did not know. They were soo good! I haven't been able to find any like them...

If it is the double stick Popsicles... I found some at wal mart that are white piña colada, blue a tropical berry, yellow is banana (my favorite) and strawberry, orange, grape, and I can't remember if there were more flavored... They are sugar free and come in a clear bag. It's on the bottom shelf were all the Popsicles are. They are pretty good. They are better to me then the name brand in the boxes.

There called penny savers lol thats what i have plus work there

Yay so glad they really exist outside of the hospital by the end of the day ill be saving me some pennies lol thanks!!!

Unfortunately I can only have broth and jello and Popsicles for the next few days. I am dying for a protein shake lol. I feel like that might at least give me a full feeling. I haven't experienced the problem with the cold stuff. I do wonder whether I am truly hungry or just feel that way watching food commercials and lying next to my fully stocked kitchen all day long!

I hear ya, my family had pizza for a kids birthday party the other day. I wasn't hungry or anything but the smell of it was hard. The whole fully stocked kitchen thing, I completely understand.

I finally got approved and am set for surgery April 23rd.
