I use decaf Click protein mixed with one cup decaf coffee and a splash if sugar free torani syrup as my breakfast every morning. Before surgery I the only thing I would have in the mornings were coffe

  • Yes mine did. I guess because one hospital coffee is nasty! And when I got home I was drinking water and Popsicles coffee was last on my list. By the time I craved some the taste had changed on me

  • I started decaf about a month out with Splenda and SF coffee mate creamer. I can drink about half a cup.

I have been having a cup every morning for the last 2 weeks, strange, because it's normally maybe twice a week, anywho...I have just been using regular coffeemate with no issues and a sweet-n-low packet, yummmmmmm! but I have SF peppermint mocha coffeemate liquid and that is (angels singing) Heaven!!!!!

Omg they have the peppermint in SF???? I've never come across this one.

coffee acts like a Diuretic and can Dehydrate you!!

Thanks! It didn't sit well with me anyway. It gave me heartburn and caused stomach pain. Oh well!

I seen coffeemate finally came out with the single sugar free coffee creamers. I like using those for portion control.

My nutritionist said for every 8 oz of coffee you must add 16oz of water to your daily intake.

When I realized this morning that I was out of my decaf K-Cups I broke down and went for my old favorite CAFFEINATED FRENCH ROAST ;-) My surgeon allows for a cup a day of caffeinated but I haven't had any since preop... I've got to say, I have so much more energy I'm not sure if I'll be able to go back to the decaf... now I just need to up my water intake to compensate for it... might be a little work but its so worth it to not feel like a zombie!

My biggest thing is trying to get over the guilt feelings for drinking regular coffee

This is my one vice. I do drink it. I take my Prilosec after it for the acid then drink some extra water.
