Haven't been on for long time folks, busy with the folks. Have lost 23 kgs to date, only 15 to go. Have been stalled for ages, but then again havent been counting protein either. Everyone looks well and from reading envy one is winning the weight loss battle, well done to everyone. Can anyone tell me please what ever happened to simply southern?

I hope she is healing. I haven't seen any posts from her. I hope she knows we are all thinking of her.

Congrats on the great loss! I can't imagine 15 to go! Well done!

Oops was trying to correct "dysmorphia" and hit send instead. Sorry. Anyway' date=' I think it's common with us weight-challenged women. We all need a wake up call like you had. Hooray![/quote']

It's an odd thing because I thought I was seeing the real me every time I looked in the mirror.

I also have a wedding coming up in June & want to buy a cute dress now while they're in all the stores but have no idea what size to buy or how much I'll change between now & then. Since surgery I've lost 60lbs and went from a tight size 24/3X to 18/XL. I will cry, literally cry, if I ever get to single digit sizes.

Need some advice.... I have been on a stall for about 2 weeks now! It is hard to up my protein much more due to the strictures I keep having. I uped my exercise but then I put on 2lbs. Makes no since to me at all. I am very frustrated... I started at 256lbs and I'm now 186lbs. I'm struggling with my hair also.. any advice would help!

That is what I bought my dress for a June wedding. Check w the stores return policy. On clothes it is probably 60 days. Then all you have to do is find you dress and buy it at least 1 size small and keep the receipt. If its too big before wedding then you'll have to exchange it or have it fitted.

I'm nervous if I buy it now it may be out of stock by June. Silly I know.

No its not Silly. heck by then you could even be a couple dress sizes down actually. That is a very good thing to be nervous about. Then when you exchange, you could see if it can be ordered or exchange for a different one.

Are you still using shakes? Can you supplant w them? That is my only idea. Sorry you're still having issues w strictures :-(

Wow, Nicole! You look fabulous. I'm four months out as well but have only lost 56. Good for you!

Jessie, sometimes when you begin an exercise program you gain a little because muscle weighs more than fat. Be sure you do all you can to get your protein in. That will help with the loss as well as with your hair. Hang in there!

Thank you. I feel great! I hit the gym 6 days a week. A lot of hard work but feeling this good is worth it.

Congrats on your weight loss too. You should be proud as well. Keep at it. More will come off! :)
