Ohhh thank goodness!!! So glad to hear!! :D

I will be praying for you too! I am so proud of everyone so far and I can't wait to join everyone on the other side! I go in tomorrow at 8' date=' surgery at 10![/quote']

Me too!! And guess what? I go in at 10, my surgery is at 12p. . Hurry up and lemme know how it goes will ya? ;) Lol.

I survived! In quite a bit of pain because I've been without pain meds for a couple hours. My iv site blew and they couldn't get it restarted so had to wait until anesthesiologist was available to try to get a site. 5 sites later and I just got a hit of morphine. I'm soooooooo thirsty, but I'm NPO till morning.

All in all though it hasn't been too bad. I'd still do it again.

Congrats to all those who have completed the surgery and are recovering. I will be with you on Monday. Glad to hear about each step so I have some idea of what to expect.

Made it! Surgery went well Now just enjoying the pain on my left side... Ouch you guys weren't kidding.

One week post-op and while better, that specific pain/discomfort is the only one that annoys me daily. GRRRR!

Itching!!!!!!! Omg! My belly itches so bad around all my incisions. Does anyone else have this? I've been putting on lotion but it's not helping. Maybe I need an anti-itching one?

Yay!!! Glad it wasn't bad. Do you go home Thursday? Clinic told me surgery on 31st if no complications home January 1st . So what about you?

So glad to see every one is making it through the surgeries without complications. Makes me less nervous. All of you get well soon. And hope everyone stays healthy and full of energy

I went home the next day. I was up and walking 3 hours after surgery. I was getting in fluids just fine and had good urine output. Walk asap after surgery, it really helps.

Do they put the I'VE for your morphine drip in your arm or in your hand? Also does everyone go home with one of those drain bulbs or whatever it is? I have seen several post about them taking a drain out and hurt pretty bad when it did

Freaking auto correct lol it is supposed to be I'V in your arm or hand

Im 3 days post op and i still haven't passed gas. Dr isn't too worried about it but the gas pains are wearing me out! Any suggestions? I walk once an hour around the hospital and still nothing. :(

Are you drinking warm broth. That has helped me 7 days post op.

Didn't go home with the bulb. They took it out the morning I was discharged. It isn't that bad. Feels more like an uncomfortable weird feeling.

The itching started yesterday in just a couple of spots, so far I have been able to control myself. I haven't put anything on my belly because there is still all this glue on the incisions and I didn't think i should mess with that. I just keep telling myself it itches cause it is healing. Not sure how long that will work. lol
