Has anyone experienced any back pain? I had no problems pre-RNY but the last several days have had terrible pain in left lower back. I've read could be from spine alignment due to the rapid weight loss?

Have you been eating right and taking your vitamins. If not then go to doc because that may be malnutrition effecting renal.

You're not using your core muscles, so your back is doing all the work your front used to do. Strengthen your core and the back pain will subside.

I do agree on the CORE. This is my extreme lower back only on left, in one spot I can point to-started day after I did my daily walk at my parents farm (uneven surface-gravel, dirt, hills)

Good... the pain in flank posterior just below ribs is usually kidneys. That made me nervous so i made my first post to you. Good luck

I have all kinds of back problems but after surgery they have become maddening. I have to see a Chiropractor very often and it helps alot

My surgery was 10/23/12--5 weeks ago. I don't know the soonest, I just called my dr and he suggested I try it for my back pain.
