  • Popular Post

Here's some things I'm looking forward to after surgery. Please add yours too!

  • Buying clothes that don't have an X or W in the size
  • Not stressing about seatbelts on airplanes
  • Crossing my legs!!
  • Buying cute bras and matching panties
  • Not struggling to get socks and undies on
  • Working out at gym like i used to
  • Participating in 5K (or more) again
  • Not huffing and puffing from car to work
  • Seeing my neck again
  • Painting my own toenails (well I do like a good pedi but to have the option to do it myself would be nice)
  • No longer unintentionally knocking things off the table, etc. with my butt
  • Feeling good!

I'm trying to tell you...when I could no longer clean my back side without ease' date=' I knew something had to be done. I would almost get muscle cramps in my back every time[/quote']

That's odd, because that was a turning point for me, too. It gave me cramps along my abdominals

The abdominal cramps are the worst. Showering is tough too lately. I'm ready, I know it's not gonna be easy but i'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I look forward to being able to carry my daughter without my ankles giving out. She has CP and cannot walk. I have fallen with her in my arms 3 times due to my ankles or a knee giving out. Thankfully she has never been hurt. She is only 34lbs and I worry about what I will do when she gets older and heavier.

And all of the above that everyone else wrote.

Oh and not looking weird in lingerie with thigh high hose!!!

Soon u will be carrying her all the time

All of what you guys have said plus

*being at my daughters school events with out worrying that kids will pick on her for having the fat mom

*enjoy being intimate with my husband with out feeling disgusting

*being able to enjoy family fantasy the park/family walks with out being winded

*having confidence in myself and the way I look

*not being the fat sister

*not being the girl with a pretty face and a great personality

*my 10 year class reunion

I know it's kind of strange but I'm looking forward to blending in. Just for once I'd like to have to search for myself in a group photo.
