Looking Forward To . . .

Here's some things I'm looking forward to after surgery. Please add yours too!

  • Buying clothes that don't have an X or W in the size
  • Not stressing about seatbelts on airplanes
  • Crossing my legs!!
  • Buying cute bras and matching panties
  • Not struggling to get socks and undies on
  • Working out at gym like i used to
  • Participating in 5K (or more) again
  • Not huffing and puffing from car to work
  • Seeing my neck again
  • Painting my own toenails (well I do like a good pedi but to have the option to do it myself would be nice)
  • No longer unintentionally knocking things off the table, etc. with my butt
  • Feeling good!

My husband would be doing me all day if I walk around nude all day.

Being more social

Two weeks away from my Surgery and I am so excited! I can't stand it..

-My chair at work has broken- the darn thing just sinks to lowest level when I sit. So no more breaking chairs

-Not being out of breath just getting into work

-Going to meetings at work and not being the only one out of breath when I get there

-No more chubb rub! Hate this!!

-Being able to see my collar bone

-Wearing heels

-Not being afraid of chairs with arms

Good ones! I also forgot a big one: Fit in a airplane seat comfortably as possible!

Looks like your getting close to your surgery, when do you think it will be?

I'm thinking May 30th :) I am getting really excited. Once the psych eval is done we'll be submitting to insurance.

I haven't been on an airplane in years and have been terrified of doing so. Soon I won't have to worry anymore about all these things that most people don't give a second thought! Have you already had your surgery?

I fly from Little Rock to Miami in June, hope to be about 20 more down and fit decently and not have the person next to me be avoiding my over flowing flab!

May 3rd for me.. I am so excited, nervous, anxious...excited. Kinda all over the place. I started this process last July, so it has been a long time coming.. Wishing you a speedy process through your eval. and insurance!
