Caltrete Gummies

I was told by my dr to try the Caltrete Gummies for my Calcium--I noticed that the are covered in sugar--for 2 tablets its 7g.

I've only taken them a little over a day, but notice soon after I do I get weak, little woozy, and slight headache. Is this from the small amt of sugar?

We were told no gummies as they would not dissolve quick enough and could get stuck. As for the sugar content it is to much at once and you are having symptoms of dumping syndrome. Only 5 grams at the most per serving of sugar was h guideline I was given. There are many choices for bariatric. Bariatric Advantage vitamins. They taste pretty good lots of flavors to choose from and no dumping. Good luck to you!

I think the gummies have half as much calcium as the chewables if I remember correctly. That's how it is with the bariatric advantage brand anyhow. Only 250g in the gummies and the chewables are 500g. I think the chewables are tearing up my stomach though. (I"m pre-op)

I was using the Bariatric Advantage chewables in Cherry-3x day. They were horrible so he suggested I try these. I had the name wrong-their Citracal 500 for 2--I do think its the sugar.

I take the Caltrate gummies from Walmart, but I do just 1 a day. I couldn't stomach the chewable Baractric advantage.
