No Pre Op Diet? Anyone Else?

My dr doesn't require one. I'm nervous and I keep thinking there will be stuff in there. Lol. I'm thinking of doing liquid a few days before. Thoughts?

I didn't have a pre op diet either. Everything went well :)

I did not have a pre-op diet either. The day before surgery I was instructed to eat light and take a laxative @ 6 pm. I would not do anything other than what your doctor instructs you to do.

Congrats on no pre op dirt I'm on a 17 day pre op optifast diet . Doing good but jealous now lol congrats girls

My surgeon requires a 2 to 3 week liquid diet pre op. whew... That's going to be tough, but I'll be so ready by the time I get a date for surgery, I don't think I'll mind!!

My doctor did not require a pre opp diet, just had to cleanse the day before. Surgery went well!!
