  2. Thank you! I have no idea if that will be enough time. I'm thinking I should wait as long as I can with also allowing enough time for alterations and for the dress to come in. Maybe someone at the dress shop would be able to help me with timelines.
  3. So question for the women, I had gastric bypass on Aug 22 of this year. I am getting married October 12, 2013. I have lost a total of 76lbs so far but obviously plan on loosing a lot more. My dilemma is, when should I start shopping for a wedding dress? I'm afraid If I start trying them on now, I will loose too much weight to still fit in it. I also don't want to wait too long with not enough time to come in and for alterations. Plus I have have no clue if ill still be considered plus size or not and that plays a big role in the styles of dresses. Help!! :/
  4. I've had the same problem. Ill be 3 months out at the end of this month. I feel like I'm snapping at my kids and fiancé too much. I hope it passes soon!
  5. I didn't have a pre op diet either. Everything went well
  6. I was wondering the same thing. Chocolate and cheese are my two favorite. I didn't know they made sugar free dove. Def gonna get those!

  13. I was able to start Protein shakes after 3 days of being home. I couldn't wait to have more options. Now I can move to soft foods on Monday so I'm super ready for that. I find myself forcing myself to eat bc I'm just not hungry except in the morning. Oh well! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

  15. I had a drain and catheter an drain in the hospital. They took out the catheter the following morning after surgery and took the drain out about an hour before I was discharged from the hospital. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  16. My fiancée kinda eats what he wants which since I'm only 1 week post op it's hard to watch him eat things that I would love to have. But I chose to have this surgery for myself. He did say he wants to try to eat better bc I'm starting to motivate him by loosing weight everytime I hit the scale. He is 5'7 and 170 so is normal weight.   19. I had surgery this past Wednesday and left Saturday morning. My heart rate was up and I had alot of nausea so they kept me that extra day. I'm still very sore and it hurts to be up moving around so I'm still resting alot. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
