Stalling here too' date=' RhondaWilliams, after only 38 lbs... Maybe the exercise I started is slowing down muscle loss? Hope so. <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />[/quote']

I was so disappointed this a.m. when the scales didn't move ...tried to get in protein today and extra water so "fingers crossed" that the scales will move this week! :)

hey Lady everyone is doing so good im 9 weeks out and 50 pounds down yay me inot losing as fast as i thought i would but losing and thats a blessing

I am doing so much better now. I am 6 weeks post op. had my post op appointment again today down 237 from 287. was moved to regular food today and said I can have anything I want so to be careful. I can't exercise everyday at the Y but I try at least 2 times a week and can do 1 mile on the treadmill and 3 on the bike so

far. my goal is to be able to work out on the elliptical

I know what you mean the protein is horrible. I've tried the protein shots' date=' the high protein drinks, protein pre made shakes all of it taste bad. I get very little protein in and im

trying. I don't know what to do.[/quote']

I went to the GNC store an git the whey protein powder (no flavor ) an put the powder in a fruit smoothie in the morning. It barely has any taste an is tollerable. I go to Costco an get real frozen strawberries n pineapple chunks an use water instead of milk so its not real creamy an that's been working well. Even my husband drinks em with me every morning. I can attach a picture of the protein in interested.

Remember were gonna have thos stalls.. I had my first one for Like two or so weeks. Best thing you can do is just keep up your routine, drink lots of water && don't get frustrated =] yall are doing an awesome job!!

the stalls are awful!!! they play mind games on you like your doing something wrong!! I guess my weight loss is already slowing down to about 1-2 pounds a week. I hate that being only 7 weeks out. I know it is strictly because the only exercise I am getting mostly is house cleaning and taking care of my 3 year old grandbaby. I joined the Y but hate going by myself and I don't have a vehicle till husband gets off work and by then I have the baby. so I think the Y is not going to work out. I will just have to try and invest in a treadmill

  • 3 weeks later...

October buddies what's going on?
