Well we're on our backs the entire time during surgery and in the hospital bed. I know for me I had to get up and walk. The gas can cause issues as well.

How far out are you from surgery?

4 days... feeling like everything stops at my chest-bone (even water) ... walking definitely helps alot! Just wondering what I did to myself!!

Rhonda.. it sounds like gas and not anything you did. Give it a week or so and walk, walk, walk.... it truly helps !!! Best of luck to you :)

Take it day by day and the pain subsides and you will feel better soon. Walk and have faith in the process. :)
