I dont count calories just grams of protein. When I put it in My fitness pal I usually average around 800-900.

I count calories and I try not to pass 800 calories but I don't even get near 800.

my doc says count protein and water ounces

My dr said she doesn't care about calories coz I can't take many anyway. She stresses Protein and more calories if I work out. I count calories & protein on myfitness pal. I never hit 600 on regular days or 800 on gym days

Yeah the calories part is kinda true - you really can't each much. It's much more important to get in your Protein.

Check with your doctor/nutritionist. I do not count calories I count grams of protein and I always do protein first. Watch your portion size.
