How is everyone? Nov 6th is slowly approaching and I ready for my journey to start. My pre-op diet start on Nov 1st. Is it bad that I feel like I want to eat my sweets and drink soda while I can?

Nope. I just want to get the show on the road. Tomorrow is my official last day if real food for a while. So this next two weeks is going to be hard. Are you nervous?

Wow your lucky.. I wonder why some surgeons require the diet and others don't. My surgeon told me its to shrink our liver and make the surgery safer. I start my diet today ...2! Weeks of fun.... I still have to cook for my family which stinks, plus holloween with 3 small kids... I don't want to think about it.

I know! I will definitely try dieting a week or two before surgery so I get used to it and maybe lose 10 pounds! Just buy tasty protein drinks! Or make gooood ones so it won't be so gross! You can do it!

Tonight is my last meal for a while. I start Optifast tomorrow and broth. So my good bye dinner is t bone streak and fries since knowing my luck beef might be an issue after surgery . With the help of family friends and support and this group I can rock this lol
