Attention Pre-Oppers

So just so your aware, after surgery your taste buds WILL change. Just be ready, it stinks big time. Things I use to love, like a fresh cold glass of milk tastes like crap lol just a little advice I wish someone would have shared with me! Good luck on your journeys :)

I sure hope I still like milk. Sure will make my protein shakes even worse if not. Sorry for your loss. Oh, and good luck with your positive loss. Oxymoron, I know, but losing weight sure is a plus!

I'm still waiting for my taste buds to change lol.

Yeah I've had no change in taste since surgery so everyone is a little different.

I've noticed some smells make me nauseated. My husband fixed himself a chicken sandwich and the smell of it cooking made me dry heave. I hope we can enjoy food again one day!

Oh I hear you !!! my taste buds have changed BIG TIME !!! The things I use to love I have no taste for what so ever, but in a way that is a good thing because some of those things were not so good for me so I am OK with it. I think the taste bud thing happens to some of us and some of us not so.
