Hello Everyone!

Hi! I am Angela and I live in North Carolina. I had RNY on July 2 this year. I have had a couple complications, but wouldn't change anything! I am getting my life back.

Welcome and Congrats!

Hi there. What part of NC? I'm near Rocky Mount. Congrats on your surgery. I'm still pre-pre-op. :-)

Hello Angela! I'm in NC too. In Charlotte actually. I had my RNY revision on 6/28 so I'm just a few days ahead of you. Welcome and congratulations!!!

I am in Waynesville (near TN line). As to complications, the opening to my pouch closed and I wasn't able to hold any liquids or soft foods. So, I ended up severely dehydrated and had to have the opening stretched. Including surgery, I have spent a total of 2 weeks in the hospital this month. So far, everything is going goid. I see ny surgeon Tuesday.

Wow! Glad you are doing better now.
