Has anyone been perscribed this on their six month or from their pcp?

I was and have never been keen on taking any kind of pills other than vitamins. I took them for a few day and seemed a little off. Thought I should finish them off up until my 14 day pre-op diet to see if I can even lose a few before then.

Also if you took them. For how long and did you lose anything?

I took that about 7 years ago and it helped me lose about 50 lbs but the side effects were uncomfortable. And if I knew then what I do now, I wouldn't have taken it. It's not good for your heart. Most docs wont prescribe it. And don't get it online! You can't guarantee it's not just Tylenol or sugar pils!

I took meridia a few years back and it worked great - lol I could not eat anything. Insurance stopped covering it and price went to $90 a bottle per month. Most of the time, these medications always end up on the recall list.
