Today marks six weeks since my surgery. Over all I feel good. I have lost 36.8 lbs so far and while I don't see it when I look in the mirror, I do feel it in my clothes. I have been off work since my surgery. Tomorrow I go back to the office where everyone knows I have been gone, but only a couple people know what exactly happened. I'm a little nervous. I'm afraid of getting sick at work, or forgetting to get in all my fluids (still something I have to pay close attention to), and i'm sure I'll get questions that I will have to respond to politely while still not disclosing a lot of info. I know I'll be just fine after tomorrow, just wanted to vent and release the jitters. Hope you all are having a fantastic day!

Good luck at work. I'm gonna suck up a little bit more of this unemployment before I go back. My job fired me for some BS cuz they got wind of my surgery and I was gonna be off. They didn't want to switch around my classes or find a different instructor for a few weeks. Jokes on them I'm getting paid to recover

I think having the time off to get used to the new lifestyle is a huge help. Sorry to hear how your job treated you!
