Hi All! 3 More Days! Teeth Chattering!

Lol! Hi everyone well my day is coming up soon! Wed is the big day! I'm so excited and ready for the new Mel! Hubby is doing great just the tiredness I'm guessing that is something we all will go thru after major surg. As far as vomiting or nausea none of that!! Kiddos to our dr! She did a great job! I'm ready for the changes in my thought process about food. How only a little will have me full and the new look! Can't wait to shop!! I'm gonna be a thrift shopper for a Lil bit at first. I'm happy this forum is here and we all can truly express ourselves. I'm also happy that there are so many choices of sugar free and low fat food that u can make things taste like the fatty foods but not really be fattening. Wish me luck and pray for me! Thanks!!

Pain management is important for healing. That being said there are allot of options to help manage it. If one isn't working how u like then ask for a different option. In the hospital morphine, dilaudid and fentanyl are big ones. Don't be afraid to ask for a different one.

Typically if your having sleep apnea in relation to the pain med your snowed. What I mean is your likely getting too much and it's suppressing your resp drive. Lower the dose or ask for something else because whatever your on your taking too much an it's dropping your resp drive.

Pain is a symptom it should be treated and managed. Advocate for yourself!

Hoping everyone has an easy recovery!

Its been good so far. Worse thing eas the upper g.i. that stuff is nasty.
