Can anyone tell me when it is okay for me to eat a communion wager. I forgot to ask the nurse. I am

1 1/2 weeks from surgery and eating mashed potatoes and cream of wheat and such. I would like to take communion tomorrow if it is safe.

I am a week and a half out and I eat crackers and such it should be okay if you just eat it slow and take your time.

At my church it is a very thin wafer like cracker you take during communion. Represents the body of Christ

Oh ok I understand now.

I don't think it should be a problem. They usually start melting as soon as they hit your tongue.

I'm sure it will be ok- just let it melt in your mouth.

I think so. I take it in the same hospital at 5 days after the surgery and all that good

I took a little water when I got back to the pew - 4 days post op. Our church also does wine - had to catch myself there!
