Questions...

1) did anyone start off a smaller patient? I'm going in for surgery Thursday @ 220.... & 30 yes old. I'm curious about the speed of weight loss, loose skin.

2) did anyone have heart palpitations prior to surgery? I have been struggling with them for years and am hoping that they will deminsh.

3) lastly, anyone have low Iron due to heavy periods? I have also struggled with this & am hoping that these two things will correct over time with some weight loss.

I can't wait to feel better...

Thanks! :)

My surgery weight was 245, date of surgery 6/4. 3 weeks post op today. In the first two weeks, I had alot of gas. Hot liquids, gas x and walking helped alot. I am currently 223. I did come home from the hospital at 256 due to fluids. My weight loss has slowed, I try to get in protein and water everyday, sometimes it's a struggle. My Doctor has me on regular food, I only eat it I'd I can mush it, everything I eat has protein. Most days have been. Good and each day gets better. Today was the first day I was really tired.
