24 Hours And Counting

Well this time tomorrow I will be leaving for the hospital! It's crazy that the day is finally here. Im Excited. I am still paranoid that something will happen to stop it but otherwise at this point I'm not super nervous or scared. I have my moments but I'm trying to keep myself so busy I don't have time to think. I've been reading on here and that has helped a lot.

I know the next bit of my life won't be easy but I think I can handle it. I wasn't required to do a preop diet except for being on a full liquid type diet today (at least it's not clear liquids). But I wanted to jumpstarty journey and already been working out and eating carefully. So I've lost 15 pounds and ready to get moving. I actually already met my first goal which was to get below 250- and that was amazing.

I never had a need to go cram in all those foods I won't be able to have for awhile- which shocked me.i am so focused on my future that the desire is just not there. I find myself looking at all I can eat instead of what u can't eat - so unlike me I can't explain it. This is just been an awesome experience sp far. BUT I'm not looking forward to today and a liquid diet (but only one day) or the gas pains or all the other trials associated with the surgery but I'm up to the challenge and I can say that with complete honesty!

Bring it on!! (hope I don't regret saying that ROFL)
