Digestive Problems

I'd anyone have "dumping" type issues after their RNY? I have not cheated on this diet at all and I have to make a run for it probably 5 times A day. I can't hardly leave the house because when there is an urge, it is immediate. I'm 2 weeks post op and very discouraged. I talked to my Dr's nurse and she told me not to worry about it, but she's not the one with the issue!

Do you all have to take calcium with these or are they good to go? Also, how many do you take per day?

Kmiller- I take 2 multivitamins, a B12 and calcium caltrate ( which are HUGE) daily.

I only take one multivitamin.

Liquid calcium citrate w/vit D and magnesium

B12 complex sublingual

Vitamin c (helps the body absorb iron)

And biotin

I'm supposed to take my iron now as well but I have yet to find a chewable.

I have an appointment with my nutritionist Monday so I'm going to ask for some clarification on the amounts I'm supposed to be taking. My multivite already had iron in it and I don't want to take too much.

I found my chewable Iron at Celebrate.com. Flavored (grape).

Jen SoCal ,

My nutritionist said the Iron pills in the store can be crushed and added to drinks. I couldn't find chewable iron and called him. So I bought the regular Walgreens iron pills and crush them.

Do they taste horrible that way? What do you mix them with?

Oh that's good. I still have the ones I took during my preop diet. I'll give it a try today. I tried it with a couple of Tylenol and it tasted like poison!

I have an appointment with my nutritionist tomorrow, I get to start purée! Yippeeee! I have so many questions for her, it took up three pages in my notebook!
