I madea mistake

My surgery is tomorrow so I'm on clear liquids today and have to do a bowel prep. I thought Gatorade counted as a clear liquid so I drank a small one. Then I reviewed my list again and saw that it wasn't on the list. Since I'm doing a bowel prep, shouldn't it be out of my system by tomorrow? Or have I really screwed up?

Most/many of us didn't evenhave to do a bowel prep since this is not surgery on that area. I think you are fine.

It'll probably be okay, but tell your surgeon anyway just to be safe.

Should be okay as long as it wasn't red or purple flavored. Those are a no no before surgery. I also had to do citrus magnesium for bowl prep the day before.

You definitely need to inform your surgeon to be on the safe side.
