Hi I wanted to post this so the August ppl can log our success and weight lost so far..

My Surgery date 8/8/2013

highest weight was 220, surgery weight 213, current weight 195

All in all I've lost a total of 25 pounds and so happy I lost 7 pounds on my two week preop than the rest the first week post op.. I was stuck at 196-200 until yesterday and now I have lost another pound and that makes me happy to know that the scale started moving back the right direction again!!

I would live to hear from other August sleevers

Everyone is doing so well! So happy to see some ONDERLANDS! Can't wait to be there!

Wow Sophiepants and Will, I am really jealous. I was sleeved on 8/21/13 and have lost 72 pounds, my Dr says I am ahead of the curve but you two are phenomenal! I know we all lose at our own rate, but you two are superstars. I am an older girlie, 62 going on 15, and it is true as we age it gets harder to lose. I wish this surgery was available when I was in my 20's or 30's. would have saved me tons of weight loss grief. But so happy I had it done. Lets all hope we see our goals in this new year.Now a 177.5 lb Barb, only 30-40lbs more to goal.

I should clarify my stats,starting weight at home pre op was 246 but they forgot to weigh me preop in the hospital, after fluids and surgery in the hospital, first day post op I weighed 254 so somehow that is what my profile reads. I consider 246 my starting pre op weight. Barb

WOW to you also Barb!! 72 pounds is an amazing amount to lose. All the weight being lost with all of us is amazing! And Thank you you know (as well as everyone here) how much work it REALLY is

Barb you are correct when you say we all lose at our own weight. Age, height and SW I think are huge factors. As I get closer to a normal BMI It's coming off slightly slower. Oh well it's coming off and I love it! I never would have dreamed I could lose 102 pounds in 10 months on my own (with my tool).

Just going through my first stall. I am so happy that I made the decision to have WLS. One of the best decision's I have made in a long time. It is definitely work but well worth it. Congratulations to everyone and their successes!!

Hey August fam!

I'm officially 5 months post-op today. Feeling great and loving life. Can't believe were already this far out! I have 35 more pounds to go!

How is everyone else doing? Back on track after the yummy holiday season?

How much is everyone eating? I have found I want a few bites more at meal times. I can eat about 5 oz now. I weigh all my food so I know 5 oz fills me up. But a month ago it was 4 oz. Anyone else able to eat more?
